Medsoft’s Local Area Network consists of a combination of state of the art IBM workstations and Servers.

The Local Area Network is supported by Cisco’s switches and Routers, Lucent certified structured network cabling and Lucent patch panels. The data communication is currently accomplished by a fractional T1 - 1 GB  link from Pacific Internet - (Singapore Singtel based) and a DSL-512 kbps is provided by Touchtel or Dishnet DSL.

LAN is configured with NAT (network Address Translation) by which additional security and anonymity is achieved. Our local IP’s are not visible to the outside world. With our Hacker Attack Prevention policy attacks such as DoS (Denial of Service), Ping of Death, SYN Flood, Land Attack, and IP Spoofing are automatic detected and thwarted
