The
Account manager is responsible for coaching and training MT’s and performs
regular, random, in-depth quality reviews of each MT (all levels) and
Proofreaders. To maintain the
compensation rate associated with their skill level, each MT must maintain
accuracy rates of 98% or greater. Each pay period, using a Quality Worksheet,
the supervisor selects a variety of report types and reviews a percentage of
them for each MT. The supervisor
listens to each voice file of the selected sample reports.
The supervisor evaluates the MT’s accuracy of demographic information,
medical terminology, English grammar, spelling, and adherence to account
specifics for their assigned account.
Each error is assigned a point value according to severity with an emphasis on
patient care.
MT’s with error rates of greater than two full points per 100 lines of text (98%
accuracy) or a single patient care error, as defined on the QA worksheet, are
placed in the “Hold for Quality” category and the up-load option taken off.
